Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med Surg Tele unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a minimum of one year of experience in a med/surg or telemetry setting. This is a dynamic role that requires proficiency due to the complexities of the patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients who meet Medicine or Med Tele admission criteria.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of Med Surg Tele experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association only.

Schedule

This position involves working day/night rotation shifts and requires holiday and weekend availability.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
