Shift: 06:30 - 15:00

Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed. Potential for additional coverage/call. Call Requirements: 1 night/week, 1 weekend/month.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room provides care in a variety of surgical specialties including General, GYN, Vascular, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, and Davinci Robot. The nurse will circulate within the operating room, ensuring patient safety and collaborating with surgical teams.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in Operating Room settings, handling cases across multiple surgical specialties.
• Ensure compliance with surgical standards and protocols during procedures.
• Monitor patient condition and vital signs before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist in maintaining an aseptic environment and manage surgical instruments and supplies.
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimum patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license to practice in West Virginia.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Experience as an RN Circulator in General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, and Podiatry specialties preferred.
• CNOR certification is preferred.
