Registered Nurse (RN) - Days/Varied Shift

Job Description

The RN provides age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN will assume leadership responsibilities, which include the delegation of work to other levels of employees.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific direct patient care.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to provide effective nursing care.
• Delegate tasks and provide leadership to the healthcare team.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare provision.
• Maintain active certifications including ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NRP, and de-escalation techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NRP, and de-escalation required.
• If any certifications are not active prior to the start date, a plan must be in place to renew them.

Schedule

This position operates on a Days/Varied shift schedule.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
