Nights, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend/holiday.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse will serve as a critical member of the healthcare team, providing high-quality care primarily to medical-surgical patients. This position requires EKG monitoring skills and offers a supportive environment with nursing assistants and unit secretaries available. Nurses will need to float to various Cone campuses as patient care demands dictate.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients including those requiring telemetry.
• Administer medications and manage medical equipment.
• Conduct EKG monitoring and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Telemetry skills with remote monitoring experience are required.
