Registered Nurse - Trauma, Neuro, and Ortho Experience

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 06:45 AM - 05:15 PM (4x10 schedule). Call requirements include two to three 12-hour shifts per six-week schedule on weekends.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess strong competencies in trauma, neuro, and orthopedic nursing. The position requires active engagement with patients who are experiencing critical conditions and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with trauma, neuro, and orthopedic conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state nursing license (ID License required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Experience in trauma, neuro, and orthopedic nursing settings.
• Ability to stay up to 2 hours past normal shift hours when required.
