CT Scan Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with holiday rotation.

Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist will perform imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety throughout the process. The role may require floating to other facilities and working on-call as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Maintain equipment in good working order and report any issues.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols at all times.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Scan Technologist, with at least 6 months in a Level 1 Trauma setting preferred.
• Current BLS and ARRT RT (R) (CT) certification required.
• Must have a valid South Carolina license to practice, or proof of pending application.
• Experience with Siemens equipment is required.
