This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The CT Scan Tech will be responsible for performing CT scans and assisting with interventional radiology procedures as needed. The role requires a combination of technical skill and patient interaction, ensuring quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of patients, ensuring the highest quality images for interpretation.
• Administer contrast media as required and in accordance with safety protocols.
• Assist in interventional radiology procedures as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Document procedures and patient information in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience as a CT Scan Tech, with a minimum of 6 months in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• ARRT RT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications are required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Siemens CT machines is preferred.
