Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN OR)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialty setting, with the ability to assist in various cases including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care in the operating room.
• Assist in various surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain equipment and ensure the operating room is sterile and prepared for surgery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in the operating room.
• Current AHA BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with guaranteed hours of 40 per week.

Holiday Expectations

Candidates must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
