Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Schedule

Night Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring that the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants while delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessment data and collaborate with patients/families.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and provide direct patient care.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching starting from the day of admission.
• Communicate significant changes in patient status to other care providers for continuity of care.
• Provide supervision and direction for ancillary nursing personnel and delegate appropriately.
• Foster a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Engage in professional growth and development through continuing education.
• Perform additional duties as requested.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification is required prior to the first shift.
• ACLS is required prior to the first shift (CIRH ONLY).
• Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
