PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

Monday - Friday, 10:00 PM - 10:30 AM

Job Description

This position is for a PACU Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty. The unit will be covering higher acuity cases, and responsibilities include overseeing patients who have undergone various surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the PACU setting.
• Monitor vital signs and patients' recovery status.
• Administer medications as prescribed and provide post-operative care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and post-operative instructions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience.
• Current AHA ACLS and BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system.
