Schedule

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 36 hours/week, alternating weekends, 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in critical care and be proficient in managing high-acuity patients. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of advanced clinical practices and technology.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage vesicant medication titration and pressors.
• Provide sedation and paralytics as per patient needs.
• Operate and interpret telemetry for patient condition assessment.
• Oversee ventilator management and care of patients with tracheostomies.
• Utilize clinical knowledge to understand hemodynamics and PA catheter setup.
• Perform procedures including cardioversion, central line insertion, and fluid management.
• Assist in advanced procedures such as bronchoscopy and thoracentesis.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ICU experience is mandatory.
• No specific certifications required; however, CCRN, IABP, Impella, and CRRT certifications are valued.
• Proficient in telemetry interpretation and advanced critical care procedures.
• Able to manage and care for patients with significant medical needs.
