Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Schedule

This position primarily involves NOC shifts, with 6-8 call shifts per 6-week period. There may be occasional day coverage. Hours will not exceed 4 shifts per week unless mutually agreed upon with the OB Manager.

Job Description

The Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics Registered Nurse to provide high-quality maternal and infant care. The role encompasses responsibilities related to labor, delivery, postpartum, and general obstetric nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers in labor and delivery.
• Assist in postpartum care and education for mothers and newborns.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vitals and respond to any complications.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum nursing.
• Current Montana RN license or qualifying compact license is required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications are necessary.
• Intermediate AWHONN certification required.
