Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN)

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment, where you will provide specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, and drain placements. This role requires preparation of patients, monitoring during procedures, as well as recovery management including PACU and extended stay (23-hour). As part of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients, the Interventional Radiology RN will employ critical thinking and strong communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented setting. Delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in partnership with a multidisciplinary team is essential.

Schedule

This position requires a 4x10 hour shift schedule, totaling 40 hours per week. You will be required to work weekends, holidays, and be on call based on unit needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York State RN License
• BLS Certification (AHA only)
• ACLS Certification (AHA only)
• Telemetry experience
• Minimum of 1 year of recent interventional radiology experience
