Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 days a week with every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Job Description

The Charge RN will provide essential nursing care in a 29-bed unit specializing in adult through geriatric orthopedic and medical-surgical patients. The unit features telemetry monitoring and a physical therapy gym, promoting patient recovery on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff and manage charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
• Provide care to patients recovering from total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
• Monitor patient telemetry and provide necessary interventions.
• Facilitate effective patient care routines in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist with physical therapy procedures and aid in patient mobility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with prior charge nurse experience required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Travel experience is essential.
• EPIC charting system experience is required.
• Active RN license must be in hand at submission.
