Registered Nurse - MS Ortho Unit

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our MS Ortho Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic nursing, coupled with experience in managing a variety of patient conditions. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans.
• Manage IV therapy and various medical devices.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an orthopedic unit.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a patient ratio of 1:6.
