Registered Nurse - BMT Outpatient Infusion

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience to join our fast-paced and growing team. This position will focus on providing clinical care, coordination, and patient education to the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patient population. The RN will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions.

Schedule

This is a 4x10.0 schedule, primarily weekdays, with weekend and holiday rotation as per unit policy. Options for flexible hours include either 36 or 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and patient education to patients undergoing Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy.
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and a flexible approach in a team-oriented environment.
• Engage in independent critical thinking and multitasking to ensure patient safety and care excellence.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in New York.
• Recent acute care experience is required.
• At least 2 years of hematology/oncology experience is required.
• ONC certification required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Telemetry experience is preferred.
