CVOR Certified Surgical Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x10-hour schedule from 07:00 to 17:30.

Job Description

The CVOR Certified Surgical Technician will support surgical procedures in a cardiovascular operating room setting. The role demands proficiency in scrubbing open heart and vascular surgeries including wired vascular cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgeries by preparing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
• Scrub and maintain a sterile field during operations.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call coverage as required for weekday and weekend shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent surgical technician experience; CVOR experience preferred.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Must hold a Permanent Ohio license or a compact license at the time of submission.
• One reference from a supervisor or manager in the specialty is required.
