Job Description

The Neuro/Stroke RN will work to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. The role requires experience working with neuro and stroke patients, and candidates must be flexible to float between different units as needed. This position may also require participation in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for neuro and stroke patients.
• Monitor patient vitals and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in patient education and support patient families.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months PCU experience within the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Active Arizona RN license (must be verified within last 30 days).
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from approved vendors.
• Driver's License for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
