Registered Nurse - Mixed Surgical PCU and MS

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (7p - 7:30a) / 36 hours scheduled / 24 hours guaranteed. Banner is allowed to cancel 1 shift.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The position is for a Registered Nurse in a mixed surgical PCU and medical surgical unit. Candidates will also potentially float to other units on campus as needed. Applicants must have previous travel experience to be considered. Note: Arizona residents are not eligible for assignments in Arizona facilities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize critical nursing skills to provide quality patient care in the mixed surgical PCU and MS settings.
• Ability to float between different units as required.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months PCU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications from approved vendors.
• Valid driver’s license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
