Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum

This is a night shift position from 18:45 to 07:15.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing full-scope care in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) settings. This role requires competency in intrapartum management, immediate newborn stabilization, and postpartum/couplet care for stable mothers and infants in a rural hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Circulate C-sections and manage high-risk labor.
• Perform Pitocin titration and fetal monitoring interpretation.
• Participate in neonatal resuscitation and postpartum/couplet care.
• Transition between labor, nursery, and couplet assignments based on changing needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• NRP certification preferred.
• WHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and STABLE certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in LDRP settings.
• Ability to work independently in a low-volume, high-acuity rural hospital.
