CICU/CVICU Registered Nurse - Night & Day Rotating Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating day and night shifts, 3x12 hours. Day shift: 07:30 - 19:30; Night shift: 19:00 - 07:00. Every other weekend and holidays required as scheduled.

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated CICU/CVICU Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with specialized procedures such as bedside line insertions and targeted temperature management.
• Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license for Maryland or compact state.
• BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIH certifications required; CCRN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVICU or similar setting.
• Experience with Epic charting system is a plus.
