CVICU Registered Nurse Position

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in a critical environment. This role involves caring for patients recovering from open-heart surgery and managing advanced cardiac devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals recovering from cardiac procedures.
• Monitor and manage patients with Impella and Balloon pump devices.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform assessments and document patient progress accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of CVICU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits on the state license to practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
