Registered Nurse - OR Specialty

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour day shifts, with a schedule that varies from 6:30 AM to 7 PM. On-call requirements are included.

Job Description

The position requires a Registered Nurse specialized in the Operating Room (OR) to provide high-quality surgical care. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during surgery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective patient care.
• Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and care post-operation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Operating Room nursing.
• Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications are required.
• Registered Nurse license in the applicable state.

Holiday Expectations

MUST work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day and 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
