Job Description

Join our team as a Travel RN in the Labor & Delivery unit where you will provide specialized care for expectant mothers and their newborns. You will work in a setting equipped with 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs, offering a dynamic and supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor assessments and assist with deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean births.
• Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers.
• Utilize equipment such as Beacon EMR and Meditech for documentation and patient management.
• Adhere to AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios and care standards.
• Collaborate with a diverse nursing team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Active BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM - C or AWHONN certifications.
• Prior experience with Meditech strongly preferred.
• Postpartum experience is highly valued.
