Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Postpartum / Newborn Nursery RN will provide care to mothers and newborns following childbirth. The role requires a skilled and compassionate nurse with experience in managing high-risk antepartum patients as well as handling various postpartum recovery situations.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns.
• Monitor and assess patient condition in both postpartum and nursery settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Perform IV placements and other relevant procedures as needed.
• Document patient care in the Meditech system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active TX RN license (temp license will not be accepted).
• 2+ years of hospital experience.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in Antepartum care and Newborn Nursery care.
