Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Travel RN to join our Post Partum unit. You will provide excellent care to new mothers and their newborns, supporting them during the postpartum period. The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining a positive, respectful work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide couplet care with patient ratios of 1:3.
• Conduct newborn screenings and monitoring, including blood glucose and jaundice.
• Support breastfeeding and provide perineal and incision care.
• Conduct hourly rounding for safety and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with OB, pediatricians, and lactation professionals.
• Participate in bedside shift reports and team collaborations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Experience in couplet care and supporting breastfeeding.
• Preferred: Charge experience and late-preterm or transitional newborn experience.
