Job Description

Join our Emergency Department team as a Registered Nurse, specializing in the care of low acuity patients. This unit is transitioning from a Level IV to a Level II trauma hospital, providing an exciting opportunity for professional growth and patient care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and documentation.
• Administer medications and provide wound care.
• Assist with splinting, IVs, urine collection, and lab draws.
• Provide care for patients classified as ESI 1 through 5.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver timely care for Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, and Trauma patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have: Level II or Level III trauma experience, TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS.
• Preferred: CEN or TCRN, CPI, with greater than two years of emergency department experience.
• Compassion, urgency, and teamwork are essential qualities for candidates.
