Job Description

The PCU Registered Nurse will join a diversely skilled team that provides support across two major campuses. The team's primary focus is to address overflow needs within various adult health units, including Med Surg, PCU, and IMC. Experience in Level I Trauma centers and familiarity with large hospital environments are required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the PCU and other overflow units.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and perform necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care strategies.
• Assist with patient assessments and documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
• Float between various units as needed, including the Med Surg, PCU, ED, and PACU.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU nursing experience.
• Active RN license with no hits on the state practice record.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from an approved vendor.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
• Proof of residency via driver's license is required.
