Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts starting as early as 6:30 AM and as late as 8:00 AM. No holidays or weekends required.

Job Description

The Pediatric Echo Tech will provide specialized echocardiography services for pediatric patients, focusing on complex congenital heart defects. The role involves performing echocardiograms, entering full reports into the PACS system, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms with a focus on complex congenital heart diseases.
• Document and enter full reports into the PACS system.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients effectively.
• Maintain proficiency in operating GE ultrasound equipment and adhering to protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Echo Tech.
• Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification or CCI with RCCS certification required at the time of start.
• Proficient in scanning pediatric echocardiograms and extensive knowledge of complex heart defects.
• BLS certification required.
• Fetal echocardiogram proficiency highly preferred.
