Med Surg Float Pool Registered Nurse - Nights

Schedule

Nights - 12 Hour Shifts: 7P-7A / 7A-7P with Night/Day Rotation. 36 hours per week available.

Job Description

The Med Surg Float Pool Registered Nurse will provide care across various Med Surg Tele units and float to the South East Tower as needed. The role requires flexibility to adapt to the facility's schedule, including working at least 1 holiday per contract. Candidates must be willing to work 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Med Surg and Telemetry settings.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Adapt to various units as required, maintaining a high standard of care.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of recent experience in acute Med Surg/Telemetry in a hospital setting.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
