Registered Nurse - Med Surg Float Pool

Schedule

This position requires a rotating night/day schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM or 7 AM to 7 PM. A commitment of 36 hours per week is required, including one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other week. Candidates must also be available to work at least one holiday during the contract period.

Job Description

The Med Surg Float Pool RN will float between various Med Surg Tele units, providing nursing care to patients in need. Flexibility according to the facility's scheduling needs is essential, including the requirement to float to other units as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NY RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele within a hospital setting
• For non-U.S. candidates, a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the U.S. is required

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
