Skilled Home Health Registered Nurse

Schedule

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) with varying hours based on home care office needs.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Skilling Home Health Registered Nurse to provide care for patients in a home health setting, including infusions, wound care, and chronic disease management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home health and skilled nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiopulmonary assessments and document clinical findings.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
• Perform wound care, including the use of wound vacs and dressing changes.
• Change and care for Foley catheters and manage staple/suture removal.
• Administer SQ/IM injections and perform lab draws by venipuncture.
• Assist with high-risk diagnoses including heart failure, COPD, myocardial infarction, pneumonia, and stroke.
• Deliver post-operative care and manage patient follow-ups.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of infusion and skilled home care experience.
• Must have OASIS training and experience.
• Valid RN license (FL or compact) required at time of application.
• Certification in BCLS.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for home visits.
• Current COVID-19 vaccination or exemption form required.
• Influenza vaccination or declination required, with mandatory mask-wearing while at work.
