Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Day Shift

This is a Day 5x8-Hour shift position from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing PET CT and nuclear medicine procedures utilizing Siemens equipment. This position does not involve nuclear cardiology exams. The technologist will ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform various nuclear medicine and PET CT scans.
• Maintain and operate Siemens imaging equipment.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety guidelines.
• Monitor patient responses and ensure comfort during procedures.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Nuclear Medicine Technology experience preferred, with a focus on PET CT.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required.
• BLS certification in hand.
• Previous experience with Siemens equipment is necessary.
