Night Shift RN - Level III NICU

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with Level III NICU experience to provide exceptional care for critically ill neonates. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in neonatal nursing and be adept at managing complex medical conditions in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and developmental care to critically ill neonates.
• Execute phlebotomy, BG monitoring, and thermoregulation protocols.
• Administer medications, including anti-seizure, antibiotics, steroids, and vasopressors.
• Support breastfeeding and handle breast milk according to best practices.
• Perform respiratory interventions such as bubble CPAP, HFNC, and ventilator management.
• Engage in patient/family teaching and provide emotional support.
• Assist in NICU procedures, including IV starts/maintenance and central line management.
• Document care in EPIC accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of current Level III NICU experience required.
• Active NJ or Compact nursing license.
• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP; PALS preferred.
