Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel RN specializing in Telemetry to join our dynamic team. The unit consists of 32 beds and provides comprehensive care to patients with various tele/med-surg needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care telemetry nursing and a commitment to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients requiring telemetry for critical illnesses and other medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately using EMR (Meditech).
• Perform IV and Foley catheter insertions, as well as chest tube removals when directed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience caring for post-operative CABG patients is preferred.
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR is a plus.
