Cath Lab Technician - 13 Week Contract

7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, including STEMI call approximately 10 to 12 days a month.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician is responsible for assisting in various cardiac catheterization procedures, managing equipment, and ensuring patient care. The technician will utilize advanced technology and collaborate with a team of qualified professionals to provide exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Manage and operate equipment including GE Innova and Impella.
• Participate in STEMI call rotations as required.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies and protocols during procedures.
• Document patient information accurately using MacLab and Meditech systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in a Cath Lab setting is required.
• Advanced skills in PCI, PFO closure, IABP, and Impella management.
• Familiarity with performing procedures such as TAVR, PFOA, and DCCV.
