Respiratory Therapist Traveler - NICU/PICU

Schedule

12-hour day shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled. Commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.

Job Description

This is a travel position for a Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU and PICU care. The role involves providing respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical services in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments, including aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, and ventilation management.
• Utilize Hamilton and Servo ventilators for patient care.
• Conduct airway management and assist with intrahospital transport of patients.
• Participate in all aspects of respiratory care for pediatric and neonatal patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PICU or Level 4 NICU setting.
• Must hold RRT certification; CRT may be acceptable.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
