7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and possess the ability to handle complex medical situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients in the MSICU setting.
• Perform and assist with procedures including chest tubes, trachs, intubations, and more.
• Document care and patient progress using the Meditech system.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and patient safety measures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Texas (TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED)
• Minimum of 2-3 years of ICU experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
• Experience with Meditech charting is a plus.
