Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are available in the following formats:

• 5 days by 8-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM)
• 2 days by 8-hour shifts and 2 days by 12-hour shifts (10:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)

Additional call requirements include one weeknight shift per pay period, along with a 48-hour weekend call every eight weeks with a 30-minute response time.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have recent operating room experience and be prepared to handle various surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room.
• Coordinate surgical procedures with the surgical team.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage anesthesia as needed.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control policies.
• Document patient care and activities accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license and BLS certification required.
• Significant OR experience is required.
• Cerner electronic health record experience is preferred.
