7:00 AM to 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide exceptional bedside care in the Intensive Care Unit. Focused on patient safety and quality care, this role requires a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and empathetic demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care processes.
• Participate in unit activities and uphold safety standards at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted).
• 2+ years of nursing experience, specifically in an ICU setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with vasopressors and NIH protocols.
