Job Description

The SCU is not an ICU but caters to telemetry, med-surg, and critical care patients. We seek an experienced Telemetry Nurse who can adapt to our community hospital setting with a focus on high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for SCU/IMC patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient conditions through telemetry, responding promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed, including vasoactive drips when necessary.
• Occasionally float to Med-Surg as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• RN License with a minimum of 5 years of experience, including travel experience.
• Experience with telemetry and critical care settings is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patients effectively.
