Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 8-hour shifts, 36 hours/week

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our Adolescent Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute inpatient adolescent psychiatric care. This role requires strong de-escalation skills and a calm, professional demeanor to provide effective patient care for those facing mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adolescents with thought disorders, psychotic episodes, personality disorders, and manic behavior.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage crises effectively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Maintain patient safety and provide a supportive, therapeutic environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute inpatient adolescent psychiatric care.
• Current RN license required.
• Experience with various mental health conditions is preferred.
