Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)

Job Description

The Wound Care RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive wound care to patients across various age groups, including adults and pediatrics. This role will focus on assessment, management, and treatment of complex wounds, ensuring optimal healing and quality of life for patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and develop care plans for patients with various wound types.
• Administer treatments and therapies for wound management, including negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT).
• Educate patients and families on wound care, self-care practices, and prevention of complications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of wound care nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS and WOCN certifications.
• South Carolina RN License required; candidates with a pending license will be considered if proof of application is provided.
