CT Technologist - Day Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a 3x12 hour shift schedule from Saturday to Monday, working from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, and 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Monday.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans on patients of various age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills in operating imaging equipment and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans for specified regions, including the abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, and sinuses.
• Administer contrast media as required for imaging.
• Maintain radiation safety standards while conducting procedures.
• Utilize various imaging techniques and skills, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Certification: ARRT(R)(CT) and BLS.
• New York State license required prior to start.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• IV certification preferred.
