ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour Shift (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a night shift position to manage a cardiac patient population. Nurses must be capable of multitasking, handling two ventilated patients, and managing multiple drip titrations while providing high-quality care to patients in the ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to ICU patients, specifically those with cardiac conditions.
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients effectively.
• Administer medications and manage IV drips and titrations.
• Utilize and document patient information through Epic charting.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and physical therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required at the time of submission.
• Valid Kansas or Compact RN license required.
• Experience with managing vents and understanding cardiac care protocols is essential.
