This position requires a 40-hour work week with variable shifts and on-call as needed.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities include performing imaging procedures, assisting with aspirations, biopsies, and drainages, and contributing to intraoperative needs. The role also involves working with diverse patient populations, including obstetric and gynecological patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structure, and vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Assess and document normal and pathological findings.
• Maintain equipment and assist with quality control measures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and procedural protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-time sonographer in an acute hospital setting.
• ARDMS certifications in Abdomen, Obstetrics, and Vascular Technology are required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
