Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires taking calls 15+ times a month and coverage for upcoming holidays. The surgical unit consists of 10 operating rooms and 2 endoscopy suites, providing a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Assist in various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality of care.
• Collaborate with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Meditech EMR.
• Participate in on-call rotations and holiday coverage as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Proficient in Meditech EMR is required.
• Neuro and vascular experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
