Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment at a healthcare facility. This role will focus on providing direct patient care to mothers and newborns, managing labor and delivery processes, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout their experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to laboring patients.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Assist in the delivery process and provide immediate care to newborns.
• Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Advanced NRP certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery is mandatory.
• Fetal Monitoring certification preferred.
• Must have a permanent address located 50+ miles from the facility.
