Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour Shifts (07:00 - 19:30), every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care to laboring patients in a high-acuity setting. The candidate must be comfortable floating to maternal acute care, maternal behavioral unit, and obstetrics specialty care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to laboring patients, including high-risk deliveries.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using standard equipment and practices.
• Perform interventions in emergency situations to stabilize patients.
• Document assessments and care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR) using Epic.
• Support interdisciplinary teams in providing comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Active RN license is required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
• AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Ability to pass a compliance EKG exam.
