Job Description

The Oncology Registered Nurse will work on a 41-bed unit at a leading medical facility, dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients undergoing treatment for cancer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing, with expertise in sterile dressing changes, infection prevention, and blood and electrolyte replacement protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood and electrolyte replacement as per daily protocols.
• Conduct sterile dressing changes and ensure infection prevention measures are followed.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Utilize bedside equipment and EMR systems (Meditech) effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Strong understanding of general medical oncology and familiarity with ports and central lines preferred.
